Tara Milligan, PA-C

My name is Tara Milligan, and I am a Physician Assistant in Baton Rouge, LA. I am excited to be trained for the P-shot in order to help address men's wellness. I obtained 2 bachelors degrees from Louisiana Tech University in Biology and Medical Technology in 2003 and 2004. I worked in the lab as a Med Tech for about 5 1/2 years and then decided my destiny was really patient care. I obtained my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center inn 2013. I then went on to obtain a Doctor of Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg. I have worked clinical in several areas of medicine including geriatric internal medicine, sleep medicine, and urgent care. I have also worked in academia for about 5 years as an Assistant Professor. I have also been the Director of Clinical Education and the Director of Admissions for 2 PA programs. I am looking forward to getting back to what really drew me to the medical field-patient care. I will be working as the Clinic Director/Physician Assistant in a Med's Health Clinic.
