The Billionaires’ Vagina Club & Penile Rehabilitation

The point of the Billionaires’ Vagina Club — which recently appeared in The New Yorker and The Times — is that research is outrunning what insurance will pay for.

So, women with cash are demanding what the research supports — not just what insurance will cover.

The same divide is opening in men’s health.

As you read this recently published review of penile rehabilitation after prostate surgery, consider two things:

  1. Many of the newer therapies are not covered by insurance. Insurance coverage is a money decision — not a verdict on the research.
  2. Why wait until you need prostate surgery to do what we already know makes the penis healthier?

Here’s the part most men never hear: the methods that insurance does cover do not reverse or slow the underlying pathology. But some of the ideas in that article do — including the reference to platelet-rich plasma (PRP), the science behind the Priapus Shot®.

I hope you find this helpful.

Sincerely yours,
Charles
